Our mission

The Mission of the Center for Values in International Development is to be a catalyst for making moral clarity matter in international relief and development.

Development ethics has a dual mission: to render the economy more human and to keep hope alive in the face of the seeming impossibility of achieving human development for all.
Denis Goulet, pioneer of human development theory and the primary founder of the field of development ethics
